What material are your wall stickers and wallpaper made of?

Our wall stickers and wallpaper are made of the kindest removable fabric material. They are crafted from 100% PVC-free, non-toxic polyester self-adhesive fabric. They are printed environmentally friendly using eco-solvent ink and are totally safe to use in kids’ rooms. Our products are so easy to use. Simply PEEL & STICK. They can be placed in position on any clean smooth surface and then removed and reused many times. The best news is that whenever you remove a wall sticker or wallpaper they generally don’t leave any marks from the adhesive.

All our products are made with love in our little studio in Germany.

Do they hold on my wall?

We would like to answer this question with a clear YES. In the vast majority of cases, our material adheres very well. However, it can also happen that our products adhere badly or come loose after some time. This has nothing to do with the quality of the material, but is usually attributed to the condition of the wall, its surface texture and types of wall paints being used.

Which walls are suitable?

Our material can be installed on any clean and smooth wall. It will not adhere to textured surfaces, for example rough concrete, rendered or brick wall. However, both, we and our customers, have found that our products will adhere to slightly textured surfaces, such as woodchip wallpaper. Unfortunately, we cannot make any guarantees though. Basically, the rule of thumb is that the smoother the surface, the better our material sticks.

But not only the surface texture is decisive, the type of wall paint being used also plays a role. This leads to the fact that on one woodchip wallpaper our products hold very well, on another only badly. Our material is not recommended to use on paints containing latex, washable paint as well as siliconized or Teflon-coated surfaces. If you are unsure about a particular paint product, please contact & check with the brand of paint you have used prior to application to ensure it is suitable. 

It is also not recommended on paint that is flaking or in need of repair.

Do I need any tools for installation?

Our wall stickers and wallpaper are so easy to apply. Simply PEEL & STICK. No tools or wallpaper paste are required. And the best of all, there is no mess to clean up afterwards!

The wall stickers do not stick? What can I do?

Softly warm the stickers by blowing with a hair dryer! The hair dryer heat can help increase the adhesive strength and better fix your wall stickers. Heat the material with the lowest heat level of the hair dryer and then press the wall stickers against the wall again. Due to the heat, the adhesive becomes softer and can adapt better to the surface. This is a very helpful method, especially for rough plaster and textured wallpaper.

Other reasons why the stickers may not stick could be damp and dirty walls. Our products stick best on absolutely dry and clean walls. If you have a newly painted wall, we recommend to wait at least four weeks to let it dry completely. Make sure that no dust or dirt is on the wall or gets on the adhesive surface before sticking, as this also reduces adhesion.

How do I remove the wall stickers and wallpaper?

Our material can be easily removed. Gently and slowly peel the material off the wall, starting from one corner. If the material is firmly stuck to the wall, or you experience any problems with removing it from the wall, softly warm the material by blowing with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive, before gently peeling them off.

Always keep the backing paper so that if you need to remove the wall stickers when you move house, the stickers can be replaced on their backing paper for easy transport.

Will the stickers and wallpaper leave marks on the wall?

The stickers and wallpaper generally can be removed without leaving any residue on the wall. If you have them on the wall for many years you might see a slight colour difference on the wall but this is due to the ageing of the paint due to sunlight.

Please be aware that we do not have any information about the condition of your wall. It can therefore not be ruled out that paints, wallpaper or other surfaces may be slightly damaged when the material is removed. Therefore, it is important that you take care when peeling off the material. Proceed slowly and peel off the material at a flat angle of 45°.

Do the wall stickers have a white border?

Our wall stickers are precision cut on a premium grade commercial machine, leaving them completely borderless. Only a few very delicate designs my have a small white border to avoid tearing. Why is my wallpaper/wallsticker colour different to the screen?

Please allow for slight variance in colour to what may be displayed on some screens.  We suggest always ordering a sample before purchasing your wallpaper.

Can the stickers be applied to furniture?

Yes, the stickers can be applied to any smooth surface.
