We are Christina and Michael, proud parents of Lea and Livia – and the founders of Mica-Mica. Our journey began when we couldn’t find wall decals that felt timeless, beautiful, and truly safe for children. So we started creating our own designs – pieces that bring a sense of comfort and spark our children’s imagination.

What began as sketches at our kitchen table has grown into our creative studio in the Taunus region in Germany. Here, we design and produce wall decals and adhesive films that are 100% child-safe, sustainable, and crafted with great attention to detail.

Our wall stickers are made from a soft, high-quality fabric material – completely free from vinyl or any plastic feel. They are PVC-free, contain no plasticizers, and use a water-based, odorless adhesive. They are also Greenguard Gold certified, so you can feel good from the very first application.

The matte, fabric-like surface creates a hand-painted look that blends beautifully into any space and brings a sense of warmth and comfort. At the same time, the material is designed to be removable without leaving any residue and can be repositioned with ease - perfect for children’s rooms that grow and change along with your family.

Our wall stickers are lovingly designed and produced in our studio in the Taunus Mountains.

We print using a Greenguard Gold certified process, developed for use in nurseries, schools, and healthcare spaces.

We also avoid vinyl, which can contain lead or phthalates, and use a soft, fabric-based material instead – safe for every child’s room.
